| I got this for my 2-year-old after she fell in love with the first Little Quack book, and she adores this one too. The Little Quack books are really well-written--little children can easily understand the story, but the language isn't "dumbed down" at all. The illustrations are also really interesting to look at, in addition to being cute. The only problem is that now I'm going to have to get the rest of the Little Quack books! |

| This book is great for infants. It shows babies a cute way to stop crying by involving animal noises and adorable illustrations of all the animals trying to help. This is a great bedtime book. |

| I love this book, along with "Our Animal Friends at Maple Hill Farm."
In this factory-farm era, it's a great look into farm life the way it used to be, and for a lucky few, still is. The illustrations are both funny and sweet, the writing tender but matter-of-fact. | Although this board book doesn't have very many pages, it makes up for it with the number of touchy-feely items per page (at least 4-5 per page) and the variety of textures (wooly, fleecy, mesh, bumpy cardboard, ribbed plastic, felt, silky, scratchy/velcro, etc.). All are high quality and integrate well into the book. There are also no flaps so it is essentially toddler-proof (i.e. you can let them play with it and you're pretty much guaranteed that they can't destroy it).

| Hattie is a favorite at our house. My two-year-old niece wants to hear it when she comes over as well. The repetition in this book works so well because of the natural rhythm it creates. That rhythm will please toddlers and preschoolers will love pointing out the approaching fox. You'll be reading this for years.
By the way, my son loves this book so much he named our Little People hen Hattie. |

| My daughter is now 11 months old and has had this book since she was 5 months. The great characteristics about this book are the fuzzy bees are tactile, the words rhyme, and at the last page there is a buzzing sound. When it gets to the end, my daughter tries to emulate the sound. It's so darn cute. |
