| My toddler class loved this book. They would always giggle and make all the animal sounds. I loved that it showed that even if we don't think we are good enough...we are. A sweet story and a great addition to any preschooler's collection! |

| This book is quite cute from an entertainment perspective. Farmer Bill wakes up to a snowstorm one day to find that he is missing one of his mittens. When he goes to his barns, he discovers one by one, that each of his animals is missing a mitten (be prepared to explain what a cow's udder is for!). They finally see the goat at the top of the hill who is the culprit - he's munching on all the mittens! When they're all inside, the goat decides to make lunch on Farmer Bill's new coat. | I love this book, because although it was designed for a younger reader (only about 160 pgs. with larger print and simple dialogue) it does not omit any goat raising information. Instead it presents even tougher concepts in goat raising in a simple and easy to read format - helpful for both younger AND (some of us) older readers! | I read this all the time when I was younger. I memorized it. This was seriously the best book ever along with Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. Who doesn't look Chester?? Hell yeahz. I named the pig I dissected in Biology after him haha. But seriously, good book for any kid. |

| A truly delightful child's book. I bought this book for my father who is 85 years old and has recently started growing turnips in his garden. He has 2 great granddaughters with whom he can share this book. |

| This book is my favorite book. I think it is even better then the movie, which I liked also. It is a wonderful story of a pig that lives on a farm, and in the end, accomplishes his goal of being a "sheep pig". This book shows us that whatever we want to be, we can if we just believe. I would recommend this book for anyone who loves animals and farm life. I would definitely read it again. |

| We stumbled across this book at a church rummage sale this past week. What a delightful find! The illustrations are wonderful. The rhythm inherent in the story had me putting the words to a spontaneously inspired tune starting on page one. We have been singing this book before bedtime all week. My 4yr and nearly 2yr love it. |

| We have One Yellow Lion where the flaps open the opposite direction of the way you'd turn a page, and I thought this would be similar. But, the flaps open just as if you're turning a page. Granted, my son loves turning pages, so for him, this book is perfect. It was just different than what I expected. I'd recommend this book only to kids who can't sit still for more than a few seconds without wanting to turn the page of the book, as they get to turn twice as many in this so-called lift the flap book! |
