My son and I really enjoyed this story, and we have the paperback at home. His first grade teacher had been looking in bookstores for this book and couldn't find it, so we ordered it for her. We ordered the library binding, which is sturdier for all the little hands it will be held by! This book has good historical value, and the basic content is accurate, without scaring the children. It's the best "Jack and Annie" book!

This is a great book for kids who enjoy interactive creative reads. The extras are always nice to accompany these books. The Egyptology book was snapped up by my students and they loved it. It was quite enjoyable to them and they read more than they often do in books. The big eye was really interesting to them.

My nine year old book hater loves this book! So it's silly and full of potty humor; IT GETS HIM READING! My brand new copy is now bent and riffled, and it got him interested enough to start reading the "chapter books". Hurray for Captain Underpants!

Anyone who loves the Harry Potter books can probably fondly recall the first time Harry entered Diagon Alley. As readers, we figuratively stood with him while Hagrid tapped the bricks at the back of the Leaky Cauldron, marveling along with Harry as the bricks magically opened to form an archway. Along with Harry, we suddenly found ourselves transported into a wider world that we still hadn't entirely believed existed just moments before.

Anyone who has read John Granger's books on Harry Potter has probably ... Read More:

Man I love this book. But I always find it in the juvenile section. Have these people READ the stuff that happens? There is at least 1 death every 5 pages! Even if it's cute animals doing it, death is death. Good book though. Highly recommended. In my top 10 favorite list.

"The Lord of the Rings" is an epic fantasy of magic and a battle between the forces of evil and those of good. It is a long tale, in three parts, and it is mostly good. However, there are portions in parts two and three that are somewhat boring. Part three is .. I guess the best word is: dark. This is not some cute tale for young children. This is a myth-like, complicated, story for adults.

You see: Bilbo, the Hobbit brought a ring back from his adventure, many years ago. Now, Gandolf finds that "Bilbo's ring" is ... Read More:
