| My son has found he likes adventure books. DJ MacHale is one of his top authors. The pendragon series takes him to other earths and shows him different ways of life. I love how this series brings many cultures together to work as one, with out pointing out they are different. |

| The Revenge of the Witch is a story about a boy named Tom Ward whose Mom apprentices him to a Spook who rids the country of evil creatures.
I liked the book because it is exciting, the chapters are a medium length, and the pictures are creepy. It sets the stage for the other books in the series by teaching the reader about the characters and dark forces that come later. |

| My son picked this book out himself and I was a bit worried. Should not have been. He soared through it, laughing out loud the whole time. Now, although I have said he is 7, he reads on a 9-10 year old level and is in the gifted classes. What I mean is this book may not be right for all 7 yr olds, and will definitely engage kids older than 7. But my point is - he was hooked. | Loamhedge was a pretty good book, with more action and more evil than Triss. Bragoon and Saro's team of partly-retired mischief makers were intresting, as was Martha the haremaid's probem with her legs. Raga Bol was definitly a good villan, with his good-sized horde of rats. Overall, Loamhedge waa a good book.

| I got the book faster than anticipated. I also read the book faster than anticipated. Now I need to get the last book of the series. I can't believe how easy it is to read these books, and I mean that in a way that adults will enjoy it too. I would recommend ALL of Tamora Pierce's books for anyone, but especially for women and teen girls. It's full of strength and spirit for females without being abusive to males. Check it out! |
