| This is a great book for a child under about 7 years. In a sense, it's a flat pop up book. The monster changes with every page turned, which makes a kid's smile get bigger and bigger until the finale. Not a long book. My 5 year old loves it. |

| This book was just made for grandmoters to share with their grandchildren. Mine loved it and we spent a great deal of time discovering new things among the intricate work of the children, their clothes, bugs, etc. It is a delight. |

| I love this book. It told me another side of the stories I've been told sicne I was young. It might destroy someone's fairy tales or sweet memories. But, it's not bad to read both side, and come up with your own decision (which side you would believe!). |

This review is on the Arabian Nights as translated by Husain Haddawy. My wife is not an expert on the Arabian Nights and this book was in fact the first she has read regarding it. | I purchased The Nutcracker as a holiday gift for a young niece who is the magical age of seven. Her parents shared that it is her favorite bedtime story this holiday season.
