| My daughter received this book as a gift when she was a year old. She is now almost 3 and still really enjoys reading this one. The great thing about this book is how it teaches your child to see counting and numbers in familiar objects, but does it differently than the other five million counting books out there. I'd recommend it! |

| I purchased this book for my 15 month old as a 'down the road' book because it was recommended in the book 'Toddler 411'. Surprisingly, this book is a current favorite and she is actually saying 'a', 'b', '2' etc. Does she get the concept? I don't think so, but she's connecting the way a letter or number looks to its name (much like she does with other objects). The graphics are clear. My only small criticism is that the representation of 'v' is a heart with the word 'valentine' written on it. ... Read More: |

| We really liked Animal Boogie, so we decided to try this one. It's another good musical book, but with a little more ominous sounding song. Not as upbeat as we would have liked. |

| They're simple. They're informative. They're cheap. If your child is too young to read, they're perfectly good read-aloud books.
What more can you ask for when stocking your kid's library? This book features a female police officer (a nice touch) going about her (mostly uneventful) daily routine. She does some emergency traffic direction, tells her nephew about the various ways cops get around, helps a kid get home, and captures an escaped bear. The last one is a little unrealistic ... | I bought two of these books. One to keep and one for my son's preschool. It is a cute story and really helps small children picture quantity. The poster at the end will amaze the parents as well. |

| I really like Usborne's dot-to-dot books. Rather than just going up to 10 or 20 like most dot-to-dots, the numbers in these go up as high as 40. So they're great for kindergarteners who are still learning higher number sequencing. Even better, there's a number line at the bottom of each page to help the child if he forgets what number comes next. Plus these books are in full color. Most dot-to-dots are black and white. All in all, a great value in these little books! |
