is well designed to teach amatuers like me on the different features of an SLR camera. I have had my Nikon D50 for 2 years and get very good results,but still need to learn so much more. That is the reason for buying the Dummies book....to remember all the ins and outs of lenses, f stops, ISO's and so much more I can turn to my copy of the dummies book to look up the information I need. |

| I feel it is only appropriate that I begin with the problems that I had with this strategy guide and move on into the few points that I liked. This strategy guide suffers from several large problems ranging from inadequate indexes to obvious misprints. I am under the impression that the editors did not spend any time reading through their own guide before they sent it to press.

| I purchased this book on 10th Nov 08. Before buying this book I also purchased a guide for Canon Rebel XTI by David D. Busch. Since I have two books from different authors, I can compare it better. I feel this book is much better and meets my expectations. I gone through varous books but no books tells you what do you mean by AV, TV etc modes, when users should use that? and what is the effects of using that. This is best book and will recommned to others. |

| This book offers clear, concise ideas on how to improve your websites search placement. The author shows a few changes to a website that can really help with placement, but there are many other ideas as well that have a tremendous impact. I have spent very little time implementing his ideas, and it moved my website up substantially.

| This book is a must have for all bonafide Flatlands fans.
First off, it has the original Flatlands classic by Edwin Abbott Abbott, the mathematician/clergyman would first took us to the world of A Square. And it also has the 1967 followup Sphereland. | This is I believe the best book about basic Javascript on the market right now.
Pros: Technically complete, solid writing style, understandable examples, no better intro books on the market. Cons: Authors repeatedly show that they prefer class-based object systems, which Javascript is not. Authors do not effectively teach advanced Javascript prototype-based object usage and in fact seem to view it as a nuisance to be avoided. For me I just hate it, I know this is one of those reviews that is just the out lier to the negative but I would honestly warn people away from this book despite the copious amounts of good reviews on here.
