| My eleven year old son started this series and was captivated. I have read the adult versions when they first came out and was equally enthralled. My son is an avid reader, and especially enjoys what I think of as "secular boys fantasy". These books satisfy his desire for something fast paced and exciting, and also teaches him about what the Scriptures foretell about the end of the world as we know it. | My 15 year old son was hooked on these when he was younger and now my 8 year old daughter loves them too. We listen to them on car trips, while waiting to pick someone up, at bedtime. The stories are all great and have great messages. Thanks! |

| Mark Moore has it wrong. This book is Christian, but it is not propaganda. It tells about something that I (and many other people) believe will happen. Mark says that it is "ludicrous" to believe that the world would not be in chaos if all the Christians disappeared. Give me a break! Let's see millions around the world disappear at the same time and without warning and not have chaos. Especially when some top leaders could disappear as well. | These are great stories for the entire family. We listen to them when we travel in the car all the time. They are very profesionally done. | This book was mostly a disappointment to me. Mandie was like a distant shadow, you never really got to know what she was thinking or feeling half the time.
Celia still lets Mandie have the say in everything (like where they will be during the summer vacation for instance) and doesn't seem to be having any relationships away from her. Celia should have been dating someone. |

| I love all the books in this series. They are funny and easy to read and each book is a story in itself. I am collecting them all and have read about 10 or so. This is a great book for grades 4-6. |

| The door in the dragon's throat (A Crossway youth book)
is this first in the series and it just was a bad book. This book with the admitted Christian propaganda is still fun and has some maybe historical reference. The writer has seemed to improve so that his plot is in places actually exciting. Those interested in biblical history that has an archeology background might like getting this for their kids. |
