| My children loved this collection of Mandie books. Unfortunately I was disappointed with some unsound doctrine concerning salvation (works based), as well as the amount of youthful romance presented at such a young age.

| I love this book. I read this entire series when I was little, and I read it again this past month. The characters were as alive as they were five years ago, and I could relate in a totally new way the text of this novel.

| My almost 6 year old really wanted to watch the movie but is prone to night mares so we said no. She was very interested in the story that she heard from friends and wanted to say she knew it too. We found this book and are both thrilled. It's a wonderful retelling of The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. It takes less than 10 minutes to read out loud and the illustrations are fantastic, very beautiful. It's very true to the actual story, just shorter and ideal for younger kids. I'd say 4-7 old range. | This is an exciting story with such a beautiful picture of the theology that Lewis held dear. This book is a masterpiece and may be the finest work in the Narnia novels. Reading this out loud to my daughter nearly brought me to tears at times. This is a great, great book. |

| My children (currently ages 5 and 2) love Adventures in Odyssey and this is a great set to have. While there may be some little bits in the stories that are not entirely biblical, for the most part these are very informative and fun. The stories have even pointed out things to me - parts of stories that I may have not noticed before. | I love this book b/c it's a fun rhyme that I can get into character with for my girls (ages 4 and 1 1/2)that has a great moral. And my four year old can really understand the impact when I read it to her. |

| I think that the Lion,Witch and the wardrobe was a good book. Sometimes it can get dull,but other times it is exciting and fun to read. At some parts of the book it is sad, like Aslan's death. But after all it is an awesome book. I could recommend it to some people, but not to others.
This is a fun, joyful and good book to read. |

| My son looks forward to the reading of this book everyday. He likes to help me read "the French Peas" because, of their accent. In our home the reader sings out Madam Blueberry and he is fully into the book. Teachers had trouble getting him to sit down but this book has him, taking a seat with anticipation. From beginning to end he likes it (we are very interactive with the words in the book and aim to personalize it as much as possible by adding his name verbally to areas where it says you.) |
