| Really enjoyed this book. Read the stories in the car on a long trip. My children kept wanting one more. Very interesting stories and excellent help in the Story Notes. Also used this book with a small group of students and we had a wonderful time discussing each story. Highly recommended. I would love another one just like this with new stories!!! |

| I run hot & cold on Burgess (mainly warmish). This was a burner.
The characters were "real" people with "real" foibles. The humor wasn't forced but found in the out-of-ordinary events of ordinary folks. This is a great starting place for readers new to Burgess. |
