| Whenever Ms. Dessen writes a story of this length, it is tradition that it is a witty, yet touching love story. This time however, the two characters never really find their happily-ever-after, and the whole reason I read this book as because of that. It was a disappointing and altogether unsatisfactory story. Not up to her usual standards at all. |

| This is a wonderful Bible for small children or new readers to introduce them to the Bible stories. The language is age-appropriate and the illustrations are great - not scary like some children's Bibles. This has been the 'textbook' for my Sunday School class (ages infant-2yrs) for 6 years and I make sure that all of my sweet little students have one to read at home also. | The illustrations in this book are really beautiful. I was drawn to the watercolor paintings in this book. If you're a hard core dragon fan, there aren't too many interesting dragon facts in here. I'd say this book is worth getting for its art, not for its content (if you are an adult anyway) |

| I ordered four copies, one came with alot of print written in it and highlighting. Was supposed to be in excellent state and I couldn't track who sent it.
Wonderful story, but the poor state of the book detracted from me giving it as a gift...I rate the story as a 5+ but the book you sent a 1. So give it a 3 overall. |

| I can't say more on the plot because it's quite obvious what the plot is just from illustrations of the novel. But on the "controversial" aspect of the novel involving the excessive use of the N word, people have to think of the time period that Twain is writing about and when the novel was published.
