| I ve read every book by this author an i thought that this was one of his best books. I hope that there is a sequiel. it has a lot of action a dry sort of humor and a good story line. but i would nt recomend it if you havent read the first three. i d rate it a 10 or 9.5. i hope theres a sequiel. |

| Robert Sabuda is a master of the pop-up book and this is the second one I purchased of an adaptation of a famous children's story, and once again it does not dissapoint.
A good telling of the story combined with some incredible pop-ups, the one of the Emerald City makes you feel like you are in the story. | After reading the first 2 books by Nicholas I figured I would go in order of how they were written and "A WALK" being the 3RD. It was was heart breaker, Jamie was the preacher daughter and where ever she went she took her bible. Landon was a troubled teenager, who after a play and going to the orphanage falls in love with Jamie. When she tells him she is sick, he is heartbroken. | I bought these books because my son loves to read. He has been reading simple "stories" that I write on the computer but never real books of his own. When these came he just whizzed through the first series. I took them to his Kindergarden class because they were too easy for him. One to Series 2 and 3. These offered a bit more challenge and he loves them.
