| Solid construction, cute illustrations, fun textures for little ones to feel. My only complaint is that one of the puppy's shaggy ears get kind of poofy so the book won't close completely. Other than that though, great book. |

| I honestly thought that before I read this book that Anne of Green Gables was about a girl who lives on a farm with her aunt and has all sorts of normal, sappy adventures. I thought it was going to be a dull, happy-happy sort of book. What I got was almost the exact opposite of what I expected. | Loved the book, 12 grandkids loved the book. Something I hear with that many Grandkids...No Fair. The Pigeon doesn't think it is fair that he can't drive the bus..he says "no fair" so we all got a kick out of it but Emma loved it best of all because she is the queen of No Fair. |

| Highly recommended. I enjoyed it and so did my 10 and 13 yr old sons. Some of it may have been over their head but I got the jokes and laughed out loud while I was reading. If only this story was true! |

| I've seen this book for a while now and heard/read many good things about it. And yet, for some reason, reading the summary on the back didn't drive me to read it...until this last week. For those who don't know, the gist of the story is that there is a "china doll rabbit" that a little girl has named Edward Tulane. She loves him immensely. | I am eight years old and the book is great is for any child to read.
I really enjoyed reading the book. I definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys humorous books. It shows the courage of the people of Denmark in hiding and sympathizing with their Jewish friends and neighbors. It is written for 8 year olds through adult, and is a demonstration of true courage that often shows itself during times of hardship.
