I have a hyperactive three year old who not only stays seated the entire time I read this book, he wanted to get involved with the storyline (act like the bear and get sleepy) futhermore he also requested me to read it 2 more times afterward! | I actually really like this book because it not only gives you the letter, but also words that go with that letter. I read it to my son everyday hoping he is getting a taste for the english language and I'm sure it's helping. I loved Dr. Seuss as a kid and I hope my son does. |

| Having been hooked on the first 2 Maximum Ride books by my best friend, I went on to read the third and it was amazing. Mysteries are uncovered in Saving the World and Other Extreme Sports: The Voice, the true Ari, and Max's family all proved to have intrestingplot twists. My favorite part, however, is Max and the flock's sarcastic wit when they need to use attitude. Don't read in public unless you want to be stared at for laughing out loud (I don' care, but...) | My sister and I had this book when we were kids. She filled hers out when she was about 5 (1976) and I did mine when I was 8 (1986). My mom saved them and it was so fun to go through when she brought them out!
The book is great. It allows kids to draw a picture, write a story and answer questions about themselves. Even if they aren't reading yet it's something parents and kids can work on together. | This is a great book. It has everything: cars, hills, suspense, sheep, pigs, a bird and cleaning up. Since it is a board book, I can look at it myself with no help. I can also chew the pages with no help. I am good at chewing pages, two teeth is enough for that. |
