| My little brothers and I all had our own copies of Pat the Bunny. (Fifty or 60 years ago the books were made of paper and didn't last long enough to be handed down to another child.) Now I give Pat the Bunny to all my friends' babies for their first birthdays. The mothers are always thrilled to receive the books, and the babies love them! (For second and third children, I give Pat the Puppy and Pat the Cat; from the fourth child onward the cycle begins again with Pat the Bunny.) Highly recommended! |

| I bought this for my baby nephew, thinking it might be the Lowly Worm story I had memorized when I was teeny. It's not, but was still a good purchase. It's even smaller than a regular board book (check the measurements) and is a word book rather than a story. So it will probably be a good take-along more than for story time.
The pictures are classic Richard Scarry, and include some fun imaginary ones (Egg Car) along with fire truck, etc. It gets 4 stars from me because I don't consider it a must ... Read More: |

| In looking for another whimsical, creative, offbeat baby book like Pat the Bunny I found that this title was purchased through Amazon by people who bought Pat and so I bought it as well.
I certainly expected Moo Baa to have some more unexpected sounds than just the pigs' "La La La." I also expected it to have some kind of story connecting everything. | My one and a half year old daughter loves them.
She first got "The going to bed book" as a gift from her aunt living in the States and even though we are not english native speakers, she keeps wanting me to read it again and again and again... | This book would be well worth your money for any young child. I have purchased it for my 9 month old for Christmas and I can't wait to give it to him. The pictures are vividly colored and beautiful. It has a wide selection of animals, and it is a huge book! I know my little guy is going to love this book! |
