| The last time our grandson came to visit he told us he wanted to read to his grandfather and me. I did not have a book on hand that a second grader could read, so I have bought this to keep on hand for his next visit. Jamie Lee Curtis' books are all entertaining and cleverly illustrated and most appropriate for children and adults to share. |

| My kids do like this book (ages 3 & 5). It is silly & a nice Thanksgiving book.
However when reading it I do omit "perhaps she'll die" I didn't think that was really needed & didn't want to read that line. I asked my oldest son about that part. He said he didn't think that was very nice to say that. So, I omit that part but the rhyming & sillness of things she eats is cute. |

| This is a ridiculous book and I want my money back. Every couple of pages you have to turn the book around to read it. Either send me a proper copy or refund my money.

| I bought this book for a friend's child years ago, and knew I'd want to buy it for my own child one day, too. So, my little guy just turned a year old recently, and happens to be a big Sesame Street fan. When this book arrived, he got so excited to see Elmo on the cover! He LOVES it! We read this book several times a day. He loves opening all of the flaps and seeing all of his favorite characters inside. | This book was clearly written in a different time. Apparently, the only warning that Little Critter had that he was getting a new sister was on the *day she came home*. That's not realistic to how most children today are raised!

| Why it is a "good enough" book, not excellent? This book is good enough to provide great ideas/concepts to both me and my child to start the subject. It's not as formal and serious as majority books in the market regarding this topic, but it's good enough for me to initialize the conversation with my child. My child would learn more and easier, if he learn in a fun way.
Generally I think it is a good parenting-aid book, at least for me. |

| We have a 3yr old grandkid and she loves this book.
She is all girl, dance lessons etc. etc. We were surprised that she picks this book out over and over again for us to read. She loves the alphabet part and all the illustrations. Highly recommend this book! |
