| Sandra Boynton does it again. She knows the routine, she sets it up perfectly and bedtime is easier because of her efforts. Our kids and grandkids loved these stories in a poetic rhyme. Now we are giving them out as Godparents to our neat friends we help mentor along life's way. Wonderful books! |

| The book with printed story and pictures is excellent, deserving a 5-star rating. The CD, however, seems totally inappropriate for an audience of 3- to 6-year-olds. The combination of English, French, and French accented English is more confusing than enlightening. The CD content goes far beyond the content of the printed pages, adding to the confusion potential. The print-audio combination might work for some older children, but the story is most likely to interest younger ages. |

| had no idea this book had been in print so long. After seeing the bronze statues in the park on a trip to Boston, I ordered the book as a gift for our seven year old granddaughter for Christmas. I was not happy at the appearance or the "musty" smell of this old book, but the seller will not take it back. I am trying to get the smell out of the book with baking soda, I will just give our granddaughter the book when it smells better, but not as a gift.

I bought this book 11 years ago for grandson, Paul who is now 14 years old. My new grandson, Eli, is 19 months old and has just discovered Thomas. I wanted to buy Eli a Thomas book and remembered the time spent reading this book with Paul and the enjoyment we both got from it. I'm buying the book again for Eli. I know he will love it and learn from it and I will love sharing it with him. |
