| My daughter, who is almost 3, really enjoys this book. Most of the books we've previously had that had flaps were generally destroyed quickly. This one is holding up quite well and it is a cute story. I guess age may have something to do with how durable it could be too. |

| I bought this before my daughter was born and enjoyed reading it to her while she was in utero. Now that she is 10 months old, I enjoy watching her try to grab the "bowl of milk" on the pages, just as Kitten does. This is a sweet book that we can enjoy again once she begins reading. | My children and I love to read this book - and the CD has beautiful music and an excellent oration of the book as well as other great things to listen to. Beautiful pictures, lots of details to spend time with - or you can just read this delightful book for pure enjoyment. I like to give it to new mothers as it's less popular than the typical book - and hopefully introduces the authors to new parents. I love this book! |

| i think i like this more than my toddler. my 8mo really enjoys the illustrations. i get a kick out of reading it, and as my toddler is in the 8 outfits/day phase, she'll appreciate it more very soon. |

| We didn't have Dr. Seuss where I grew up so I don't have any misplaced emotional attachment to the "original"; for my daughter this will be the original. I love this little book and so does my daughter. When we start reading it she jumps up and down and laughs and claps her hands, we make it interactive with toys like a stuffed pig and a clown doll, yawning for night time, juggling on the "well feet" page.
