| I had never heard of the Fancy Nancy series until my daughter was given this as a gift. I love it, and both my daughters love it (ages 5 and 2). There are only a few sentences on each page but they are filled with [...] words, like "exquisite," "thrilled," "scowl," "ecstatic" and many others. Plus it gives a little French lesson ("Oui" and "Bonjour").
I highly recommend this book! |

| A lot of teenage girls are claiming that the book Twilight by Stephanie Meyer "sucked them in from the first page". Funny, because Twilight didn't work for me (but that is neither here nor there)...but Inkheart did.
As a lover of books since before I could even read properly, I love the attention to details and description that Funke puts into this novel, and the shout-outs to classics (such as Meggie and Mo using Elvish writing from The Lord of the Rings, my favorite book). I couldn't begin ... Read More: |

| My son read the book and we also bought the clue cards. He has been having a lot of fun with it. He loves the Percy Jackson series so he wanted to read this book. He was not disappointed and is following the mystery on-line. His older sister who is 13 is also helping him and enjoying it as well. |

| This book was a gift from family, for our baby daughter. We started reading it to her at around 12 months. She LOVES this book. She is actually a very curious girl now at 18 months, and will grab books all evening long for me to read to her.
Your little ones will be able to identify the different animals and even the colors soon after reading this book. It has a nice pentameter, thats just right for the developing LAD. I am here to order more from this author, and I am sure you will too. ... Read More: |

| This set includes the first three books of a 5 part series. My 12 year old son read and loved the Lightning Thief #1. My 10 year old son now has his eye on the LT because one of his friends at school was talking about it. Both boys are talking about Greek mythology to eachother and a teacher has started reading Greek myths aloud in the classroom because of the sudden interest. |
