| I was a bit disappointed, as well as surprised since the first story was very lighthearted. I was expecting something a little different; something similar to the first story. I thought the story would focus on Purplicious liking Purple and turning Purple as in the first book when she turned pink. However, that was not the case.

| I have been an avid reader for most of my 59 years, but I STILL say
that this is my FAVORITE book of ALL TIME...no matter what genre... It matters not that it is "recommended" for 9-12 year olds, if YOU have not discovered this wonderful story, then you must! | My one and a half year old daughter loves them.
She first got "The going to bed book" as a gift from her aunt living in the States and even though we are not english native speakers, she keeps wanting me to read it again and again and again... I decided to buy more SB's book and she seems to love them all... maybe that was one of the best purchases I got through Amazon... |

| Beautiful book, great going away present or changing life/adventure present. I find the book to be a realistic view on life, it doesn't sugar coat the turmoils of life's experience. However, it gives a great sense of when life doesn't go to plan everything will be good in the end and encourages us to embrace life's curve balls. |

This is the greatest paper airplane book either. My not-yet 5 son got into paper airplanes from a friend at day care. We tried a couple paper airplane books but gave up in collective family frustration. Then my son found this in a science center book shop. They do an excellent of showing each fold very clearly, and also include pictures of the plane at each step.
