| The Shadow Thieves is a marvelous book. It is a thorough page-turner and filled with just the right amount of everything. It is humorous, gruesome, imaginative, and a bit strange. All the good qualities of a novel. It is a bit lengthy, but in the long run that doesn't matter( well, to me it doesn't ). Have fun reading this GREAT book!:)

| This book from renowned picture book author and illustrator, Lynley Dodd, is one of her best and that is saying something as all of her picture books are great. This is appealing to small children and adults alike. Slinky Malinki is one of several characters who appear in many of LD's books. He is a cheeky and loveable pet cat who gets up to highjinks around the neighborhood. Highly recommended |

| I read this book to my 3rd grade class every year. They love it!!!!!!!! When it is time to stop reading for the day they beg for me to continue. They talk about the book to each other. They tell the parts they like best and what they think will happen next. It is a delightful book. The two cats are so lovable. The story is not too long or too short, it is just right. Bill Wallace wrote a great book. |

| None of the books in the Amelia Bedelia series is a disappointment. My five year old daughter has fallen in love with Amelia and all of her crazy adventures. The books might be too long for children four and under and some of subtle jokes of word play and definition will probably escape most kids under five. | As a lover of fantasy books, I really looked forward to reading this book. At first, I was completely hooked into the story and excited to keep reading. That excitement soon changed to disappointment and frustration. Once Jen meets Kieryn, things seem to go downhill as far as the plot and character development go. | I think the story is really neat. Three boys decide to use hypnosis to win the science fair, so they try hypnotise a dog to think he's a cat. The rest is really funny. I recommend this book to a lot of people! After you finish with this book, I recommend you read the second book in the series, "I Was A Third Grade Spy. " |

| This book is an absolute winner. Every little girl I give it to accepts it immediately as a firm favorite. It all started with my memories of not wanting to return it to the library. Modern little girls like to carry it about with them (Hoping that someone new will read it to them? As an opportunity to admire it in public? Because they can't bear the thought of being parted from it?) Who knows. All I know is that this is a great book. |
