| I got this for my 4 yr old daughter as an early Christmas book. She loves busytown and she loved the story. Upon first reading it I thought she would be a bit confused as Father cat tells a story of his past and his father is the main character, along with other ancestors of several busytown characters. | My five year old really enjoys this book and it has been very useful in teaching her the challenging concept of probability. Also, the art work is terrific! I highly recommend it! |

| this book is a little too simple for our boy but he does enjoy seeing a family like his in the pages and it has teh added bonus of teaching him about benig nice to the cat. But the overall writing and illustrations, I feel, are not high quality. |

I have finally finished Book Two! It was amazing! A story where I learned from it and still enjoyed reading, unlike a text book! =] but here it is!I love the adventures Rascal and his gang gets into! First they are "looking for freedom", then they are out in the Enchanted Forest! Now, as they are still in the Forest, the great Prehistoric Cat takes them through the Doors of the Ages. | The author really gives the cat in this story a voice, not to mention the cat is just like mine. Great story and pictures. I read it to my fourth grade class and they enjoyed it. |

| As usual, Cynthia Rylant has written us a funny, warm story about Mr. Putter and his fine cat Tabby. Each book in this series is an excellent addition to every library. My daughter and I read them over and over, enjoying them more each time. The illustrations are perfect. Just be sure to get a copy for everyone who loves reading a great book.
