| Of the three books I have bought for my 6-month old son out of the Dr. Suess nursery collection, this is my son's favorite. Because it is made of cloth, he is able to get a good grasp on the book, and he enjoys squeezing and chewing on the the fish bowl, ball and cake on the side of the book to make them crinkle, rattle and squeek. |

| His books always hit just the right, realistic note.
We really love the part in this book where Archie declares that HIS pet is a GERM. I can see a real child doing just that :) Definitely check out Keats' books if you haven't before, and for sure you want to get *this* one. |

| Santa's Snow Cat is a great Christmas book to share with family and friends. It has become a new family tradition for me to read Santa's Snow Cat to my kids on Christmas Eve. It's a grand mix of fantasy, traditions and truth. The story is set on Christmas Eve and takes place in New York City. Many of the famous places in NY are pictured in the book like The Twin Towers, Empire State Building, St Patrick's Cathedral, and the giant snowflake that hovers above 5th Avenue during Christmas season.

| Pete, the cat, has helped to write another good story. This time he helps a pig in trouble. Pete understands what his humans are saying but is not pleased that they never seem to listen to him. If you like a well-written story, this one's for you. |

| Short, concise sentences. Use of present and past tense. Homor used through homonyms.* The ending left me thinking there should be one last page or sentence to tie it together. *It is coming down. Quack! Duck! Quack, Quack. "Oh, it is a duck." "I see the sea." Very good book with color illustrations. I would recommend this one to K through the 1st grade, as well as the teachers and parents. |

| Skippyjon Jones makes reading and learning fun all in one. He is very adventurous and helps kids learn Spanish through his adventures. This is a cardboard style book that comes with cardboard flash cards to learn Spanish. The flash cards are very durable and are really focused on getting kids to learn. Skippyjon Jones is a great find! |

| This series is so fantastic. One thing I really appreciate about it is that it teaches respect for the elderly. This book in particular is my 5 year old son's favorite. It involves several different animals as well as Mr Putter's quirky neighbor. The illustrations are great as usual. Give it a try! |
