Each page shows a truck in action and tells what it does - demolishing, lifting, etc. Moveable parts, not just the usual flaps, make this a much more interactive book than you might expect. | I got this book for a great nephew because both he & his older brother thought an earlier Lois Lenski book had been their favorite. It has met their expectations - something many writers don't achieve. |

| Thought this book would be thicker. Perhaps in my last minute shopping frenzy I didn't read the fine print, but it is much thinner than the sticker books I have purchased in the past. I would guess less than 10 pages. |

| My 2 year old son has a lot of books, but this is the one he still wants to read several times a day. I originally purchased it at an airport to occupy him on a flight, and in the past year his interest in it has never waned. He can identify every type of truck and digger in the book, from the chief's fire truck to the motor home to the farm buggy, and can even name the parts of the excavator and other equipment. | I found this for $6 at my local store and bought a copy for my son (3 1/2 years old). It's practically all he's played with for the past 24 hours. He's crazy about cars and loves it. There's a lot for him to do. I'm giving it 4 stars because some of the pieces are very hard to get out of their spaces - even for me. |

| My 3 year old loves this little book...and loves using what he's learned to identify trucks, tractors, and heavy equipment while we're out and about. It is his favorite thing to do when we have special Mommy-Boy time. (It does not compare to getting muddy and building stuff with Daddy, though). As for the stickers...nice, but stickers mixed with my son are a recipe for long hours prying adhesive off of furniture. |
