| I purchased this for my Grandson, now 15 months old. He enjoys this book, but will have to be a little older in order to push the buttons himself. They are a bit difficult, even for me. Overall, it is a good book. |

| My 2 grandsons, ages 1 & 3, are crazy about construction vehicles & this little book seems to have captured the hearts of both boys. It's the perfect size for them to carry into the car & that's where it lives now. I must confess that when I first saw the book I thought it was kind of boring, but the pictures are terrific and who am I to argue with the taste of a 1 year old? I highly recommend this book and the others in the Things that Go series. |

| I have a four year old son that is obsessed with cars, race cars, and boats. The Eyewitness series has been an amazing introduction for him into the technical and historical background of the objects that he loves. I would venture that some portions might be difficult for him to grasp, however he still listens with rapt attention and is able to ask intelligent questions. | I am a volunteer firefigther, and I often go to schools and preschools to teach. Many times, the littlest kids don't get to do the fun stuff outside (spraying water or going into the life-safety trailer), so I bring along teaching adjuncts to help me with the small tikes. This book is great. The kids like the words and the pictures. It is well bound and my copy has stood the test of time. |

| My six-year-old asked about how cars were invented, and we purchased this "easy reader" as an introduction. My six-year-old and four-year-old sons like the story. At the conclusion of the (abbreviated and simplified) account of Henry Ford and the Model T, there is an historic photo of Henry Ford which is pretty neat. |
