| I gave this to my 2-year-old for his 2nd birthday and he loves it, but then again he loves anything having to do with trucks. The lift-the-flap features are fun, and enjoys trying to find the puppy on each page. Cute book. |

| When my two boys (ages 5 and 3) got this book as a Christmas gift, I was very skeptical. I figured it would be dusty by New Years and in the giveaway box by Valentine's Day. My boys LOVE this book! The stencils lift out of the book easily, and we use them on a clipboard so the kids can trace the figures themselves without wiggling. | I was hoping to find a book of nice photographs of construction equipment for my digger-crazy toddler and chose this book because of the positive reviews and because we have Caterpillar's Big Farm Machines book which has nice photos of farm equipment. Unfortunately this book was quite disappointing. Because it is focused on teaching colors many of the photos are close-ups on parts of the vehicles which are not very interesting for my toddler. | This is a fantastic book for your toddler! We have 5 year old twins that LOVE moster trucks and decided to get our 1 year old a monster truck book for his 1st birthday! Now they can all play together and the 5 year old even like the baby's book! The pictures are very colorful and detailed. You can teach colors to a younger child and parts of a truck to the older children. I would recommend this book t o any family that has boys! It is sure to be a hit! |

| I bought this book to round out my collectiom of Mark Blum 3-D books. The others are exceptional. This book is physically smaller than the others and the images are also about 1/3 smaller. My main complaint with this book is that it is basically an advertisement for Caterpillar. The text mostly consists of the capabilities of the equipment. The photos are technically OK, but not all have pizzaz. My guess is that this was meant to be a gift for Cat shareholders and executives. It's hard for me to give ... Read More: |

| My 3 y/o son loves big trucks and this has been the best book (and we've read a lot) that teach the different construction machines. Great book! |

| My son was given this book at his birth. He is now 2 and knows every truck in this book by name and loves to "read" it daily. This book has a lot of technical information that is placed in a good context for children to understand (ie. a roller weighs 15 tons-as much as about 5,000 watermellons) but mostly it has great pictures of trucks.
