| This book is a must-have for any children's library and was a favorite for both of my boys. When my oldest son was four, he memorized the entire book, and so we built a puppet theater and puppets for his precious performances. | The cricket sound in the book that made it unique was not working. That was the selling point to me. The shipper said they would make a refund which I have not received . The book was listed as acceptable which it was not. Should never have been sold. |

| This book is smaller than a postcard, it is very hard for any early reader to decode the words with such a small print and not even talk about reading it to a group of children (that is what i wanted to do). I'm returning it. |

| I love Eric Carle's illustrations, and every child should have an ABC primer in his library, but this book is hard to read with a baby on your lap. The pages fold up and out, and aren't easy to hold for the baby to get a good look. As a result, I don't bring it out very often. |
