It's being talked about as the next big text in the field. If you read Krugman's column, he leans to the left, sometimes far to the left. But he's not like that in this book, which is firmly centrist. |

| I have at hand Bade and Parkin's "Foundations of Economics, AP Edition," and that is the book I'm trying to review. I had to order this book directly from the publisher (Pearson: Addison-Wesley), not Amazon, since Amazon's website does not contain the vital phrase "AP edition," and I needed to be sure that was the one I was getting.
It has a blue cover, it's hardback, and the ISBN given on the copyright page is 0-13-196047-4, published 2007, same as the info Amazon is giving on this page. So ... Read More: |

| when i finished this book, i just wrote 'the great book' on its first page... it was very helpful to build up my historical and economical knowledge.(but it's not boring. rather the author has some sense of humor)
and you can find some kind explanations and illustrations of the writer for your better understanding within pages... i would recommend this book for high school students or freshman students of college. |

| I like trains and cars, and I also have experienced Bruce's work (Classic Cars, Cars of the Fifties, American Muscle Cars) so whe I saw that he authored this work, I knew that I would enjoy it.
The pictures are detailed -- especially the steam engines. Bruce took time to get the valve work and driving rods right. | I bought this book for my son who is about to inherit a large amount of money. I loved it. As a mature adult, I wish this book had been around when I was younger. I'm going to buy some copies for my Junior High class so my students can learn the basics of the Stock Market.
