| I am almost through my college days, but I discovered this book back in the 5th or 6th grade. I haven't read it in several years, but from what I remember it was a very riviting story between two girls growing up during World War II, the tense sitution at the time, and the family dynamics each girl must confront. I remeber using this book for several book reports :) not because I would have had to find some new material to review, but because I loved reading this book over and over again. | I bought this book for my daughter and she said she really enjoyed it. She sometimes struggle with reading, but the wording in this book was not difficult for her and she was able to read it on her own. She finished it in about 3 days because she couldn't put it down. |
