| The book Dear God, Help!!! Love, Earl by Barbara Park, is about Earl Wilber, a chubby nerdy kid who gets bullied by a kid named Eddie McFee. Earl friends, Rosie and Maxie, help Earl to get revenge on McFee.
I think this book is all right but not great. I liked the book because the ending was clever and comical. However, most of the book was corny. | Paul Hutchenes is a very adventurous writer. His story the Sugar Creek Gang: The Killer Bear always ketp you guessing and on the edge of your seat. The one thing I didnt like about this story is that it wasnt just about finding the bear it wsa also about each one of the gangs lives. The gang always goes swimming in the summer. | I don't know how to perceive this book. The illustrations definetely had me sucked in. They were clear but blurry with colors all mixed up but mixed up appropriately for the feeling of the words on the page. Colors were scattered and smeared incorrectly, but produced an absolutely amazing picture. It is no wonder Stephen Gammell has received the Caldecott Medal in his career.
