They are very simple to read, yet very educational and very funny. | My son does not particularly enjoy reading himself, but this book series is one that he happily read. I highly recommend for any child that is interested in animals and some of the gross and interesting things that they do. We went to the zoo after reading this series too and my son had a ball seeing some of the animals from this series. He thinks these books are cool. |

| This is one of the best books I purchased for my toddler thus far. It has stunning illustrations; the material is simple and useful - I learned a lot about lady bugs, which I didn't know. And let's face it, what kid doesn't love those critters? |

| I got this for my 4 and 5 year old sons- I thought it might be a good supplement for learning about science. It's colorful and fun to open, doesn't have many details, but fun! Only about 4-5 pop-out pages too. It's kind of a, "What am I?", book. |

| My two year old daughter enjoys this book. The pictures and story are good for her age group. While reading it to her like the 5th or 6th time I noticed on page 18 it appears the illustrator stuck a picture of lady flashing her breasts in the window. The color of the curtains are a pink flesh, without a line down the middle and two carefully placed dots. I don't think my daughter will ever catch on, but I don't scour books for little things like this. If he hid anything else like this I haven't ... Read More: |

| Another winner from Kingfisher Publications!I just bought this book for my 2 year old daughter and we love it! the pictures are beautiful. The text is well thought out- it is engaging and informative but still will not overwhelm a toddler. I am going to get the rest of the books in this series in hopes that they are all as good. |
