| Sandra Boynton does it again. She knows the routine, she sets it up perfectly and bedtime is easier because of her efforts. Our kids and grandkids loved these stories in a poetic rhyme. Now we are giving them out as Godparents to our neat friends we help mentor along life's way. Wonderful books! |

| I bought this for my 2 year old. We have other favorite Sandra Boynton books. She absolutely loves it. My husband loves it as well and will choose to listen to it. |

| Boynton books have really been hit or miss with my daughter - and us parents who must read them.
Hippos go Berserk is one of the better ones. The rhyming and counting keep the pace moving. It's no "Red Hat Green Hat" in the eyes of my daughter, but much better than some of the alternatives. |

| This is a great book! It is so cute and funny and as usual, the simple yet adorable drawings captivate my little one's attention. A mother tries to guess what is bothering her little Pookie and as the usual things don't resolve it, she has to get more imaginative... |

| Boynton books have been really hit or miss with us. This is one of the better ones.
My daughter enjoys having it read to her, and we can tolerate reading it. She enjoys the rhyming and the hippo. The thought that the book was sending some kind of negative message never crossed my mind before reading some of the reviews here. |

| I have to admit, I really didn't think my kiddo would go for this book. We checked it out from the library and when I started to read it I thought there would be absolutely no response. Boy was I wrong! Everytime I got to the turkey wearing the wrong thing and said "OOPS!" she burst into giggles. My little one doesn't laugh easily, so I ran out and bought the book for our own at-home library. Not my favorite Boyton book, but it makes my 15 month old laugh, so we read it everyday. |

| My son (age 3) got this for Christmas from his Aunt. The first time I listened to it, I hated it and put it away. I couldn't believe my sister got it for him. After a few months we took it out and gave it a second shot. We actually listened to the whole thing this time and discovered some really good songs on it. I was a little turned off because the first song is about someone who cries No, No, No and has some kind of tantrum throughout the whole song. | MY fifteen month old granddaughter loved this book. I do too. She especially enjoys searching for Bob on each page. I know it by heart. Highly recommend. Wish there were more books like this. |
