| I just love this book and the entire series of "Rookie Read About" books by Allan Fowler. Thoughtful and simple explanations, and great photos. I started reading this book to my two year old son, and though it was a little early for him, he understood a surprising amount of it. | This is a great book about leaves which is fun to read and it actually tells where those colored leaves come from? It is great to include the book with research into real leaves. Nice for ESOL students studying biology and seeing leaves change for the first time if they come from a hot country. I liked this book a lot. |

| I purchase this book because of the reviews and glad I did. We use this book as part of my son's Science and also to help him learn to read. He is 4 and finds the book fun and interesting. He is a nature lover and this peaks his interested and challenges him to read by himself. |

If you read TIME magazine, you know the quality of their material. The pictures are museum level (if I only had a dime for every, "Mama, you need to come see this!"), the writing simple yet informative, and the subjects are all kidcentric. Of course, as a big kid, I've leared a lot from these books as well! |
