| I read this story to my daughter when she was 6, 8, and now she is reading it for herself when she is 10. The story is vivid and heartfelt. Linda Sue Park has created a world that is easy to get drawn into. I feel like I know Tree-ear, Crane-man, and Min.

| While I don't think this is nearly at the same level as the classic "Frindle", Clements once again makes a worthy story of kids doing something big, though it does come off as rather preachy.

| This is a good book for my 4th grade son. It is hard to find books on his reading level that hold his interest. The narator of the story is Hank the cowdog (also self proclaimed head of ranch security). The chapters are only 3 or 4 pages and give my son a sense of accomplishment for being able to read a couple of chapters each night.

| This was the first series that my new friend ever recomended to me. I was skeptical at first but then I read the first chapter. Suddenly I was pulled into the world of Alanna. Finally my eyes stopped, frantic I searched for the next page of words. There were no more. I had reached the end of the first book. | Okay, so the artwork is great (hence the two stars), there's no disputing that. The colors are rich and beautiful, the imagery creative, and the sense of atmosphere they give is really quite fantastic and captivating.

| I'd never read this book, so when I found it among the kids' books, I decided to give it a shot. And yes, I feel guilty for not having read it to my kids when they were small. Not to worry--I read to them a lot, just not this one, possibly because I wasn't familiar with it myself.

| I'm currently reading Sir Thursday, and I have read Drowned Wednesday a long long time ago. But even so, I still remember what happened in the book quite clearly. I don't really remember Tuesday at all! Drowned Wednesday was memorable because it was innovative and fun. This whole serious is pretty good. |
