| I liked ballet shoes so since this was the sequil I wanted to read it and was disapointed. It's not as funny and there's not as many crazy adventures as the first. It also has lots of flaws that the first didn't have. But read the third shoe book called dancing shoes way better than even the first one! |

| Don't we all drop those little things
and misplace the scissors? So who is taking these things? Wee people or pack rats maybe? The story is the edge a fantasy and the hope of little girls to find real people the size of dolls. | I know there are probably a lot of people that would gag on the sugary sweetness of this book, but as a book for little girls it is absolutely enchanting. Even as an adult I still adore its sweet little heroine and her bravery and goodness.

| Really Great Stories! My kids loved them. Gertrude McFuzz is fabulous and John Lithgow was superb as the reader. In fact all of the cast were excellent in their roles.
The Big Brag, Thidwick, How Lucky You Are are easily perpetual favorites. We played these over and over. A not to be missed collection for young listeners.... ages 1 to 100! |

| I first read this book in grade school with the help of my mom. I remember it fondly as a heroic tale with a sad ending. I remember the illustrations vividly.
I walked past this book at the book store recently and was thrilled to see it and remember how much I had enjoyed it. I read it that night. In all honestly, I was greatly disappointed. | So I'm reviewing this out of tribute to the wonderful work of the late Ms. L'Engle. This is still a great book, even if it is led by the odd cherubim creature affectionately known as Prog. As usual, the Murray books combine the real and the serious with the fantastical, and a childhood disease leads to explorations into the world of the mitochrondia.
There might be a little too much biology and science in this book to make it completely enjoyable, but on one hand, if you understand, it makes the story that much more enjoyable. ... Read More: |

| I read this book in about the 3rd grade. I'm now 28 years old and considering buying it for my niece! I remember this book from 20 years ago if this tells you how good it is! We use to fight in the library over who was going to check it out which week. |
