| This is possibly the best book in the entire series, in my opinion. Maybe it's the fact that I'm a water baby. Or maybe I'm a sucker for geeky people. Or maybe I just think the mystery, drama, and humor in this one was excellent! Whatever the reason, this was a series highlight for me.

| Granted my 4 yr old is a book-aholic, but these are by far her favorite! She will listen to these in one sitting if I will let her. We checked them out at the library and inside of 2 weeks, we listened to them 5 times. Needless to say, I decided she needed her own set, so she will be getting this and books 9-16 for christmas. Oh and by the way, this is a great price. They sell for $33 at borders in my neck of the woods. |

| My dad got this set for me when I was a kid. I'm 33 now and somehow I managed to keep two of the tapes: Kenny's Window and Higglety Pigglety Pop! I've listened to them on and off throughout, and somehow these 23 year old tapes still play. My daughter is 3 1/2 now and both of these stories have been *huge* hits since she was just over 2, so much so that I transferred them to CD so that the tapes wouldn't die. I hadn't been able to find the full set until now; I thought they had gone out of print. Now my daughter and I can have them all ... Read More: |

| One of my absolute favorites from childhood. It was also probably the beginning of my love for all things Victorian, as odd a starting point as it may be. I fell in love with the idea of finding a little town that (although only inhabited by two people) still functions like it did nearly a century ago. I think I even decided that I would name my future children Minnehaha and Pindar, although now I see that may not be such a good idea. |

| In "The Red Gate Farm" I thought that the setting was a perfect place to have the plot. I thought it was a good place because it was a perfect place to have counterfeit money making place where nobody ever goes to and where people would never think of a cave and a farm to do all the making of fake money.
