| The Great Brain series was my favorite as a child and are now my son's favorite. The only difficulty is tracking down all the books at a reasonable price. These books need to be republished and introduced to generations to come. Fantastic books!! |

| I'll start off by pointing out one major, and what should be an obvious detail. Good golly gravy people it's a fantasy, not non-fiction!
I'm a little shocked by some of the comparisons people are making with this book. Seriously. It's not like Elsewhere has become the staple reading material of a college/university or something. | and very dull and slow. My daughter loves mystery books. She read this aloud to me. Neither of us were impressed. My daughter kept asking why they continued to enter the house without the owner's permission. She also kept asking where the mystery was. We read more than half of the book and decided to give up on it. I was disappointed since I had heard such wonderful things about this series and was looking forward to it. I'm glad that we only ordered this one and none other. |

| Not good for reading to child before bedtime. Not enough words, story, substance. We were bored with it after one reading. My 2yr son isn't old enough to read yet, but when he is, I am guessing he will read it once and then be bored with it again. |

| I first learned of Blue Balliett with the publication of her second book "The Wright Three". As a fan of Frank Lloyd Wright, I was intrigued by the premise. I have not read the previous book, "Chasing Vermeer", which features Calder and Petra as amateur sleuths, but I definitely will after finishing this book. Balliett is a gifted storyteller, perhaps too intelligent for run-of-the-mill children's books, so it's a good thing that "The Wright Three" is anything but common.
