| These are absolutely wonderful stories told by a fabulous storyteller: the author. Who else could express the works better? Mr. Dahl has such a soothing voice that my family often listens to these tapes at bedtime and gently drift to sleep. I have two daughters, 7 and 3 years old. We highly recommend these tapes. |

| This book is another great addition to the Little Bear series (see my other reviews). Father Bear goes on a fishing trip and his Little Bear wonders what he may catch...an octopus, a whale, maybe a mermaid.
Perfect for young readers and a great bedtime book (with four interwoven stories inside, so you can stop if your audience gets sleepy). My sons can relate to Little Bear and his imagination. The stories are easier to follow yet entertaining enough to support multiple readings. |

| I happen to be a reader that saw the movie before I was aware there was a book. I then read the second book Eldest first which I enjoyed a great deal and recently read Eragon (Book 1). The movie was alright but I don't think it does the book justice. The movie is like a short condensed to fault version with a different ending. All in all, I say Eragon was a good and interesting book. |

| My daughter and I love Amelia Bedelia. Ive been reading them since I was a kid and they are still great! They constantly have my daughter laughing out loud. The vocabulary is great because it introduces new words and also exhibits how some words can have more than one meaning. This of course is why Amelia is always so confused. All in all this is a very funny and entertaining read. I highly recommend these books. |
