| I'm always torn on what rating to give the Narnia books. I think if you take the series as a whole, it is - in a way - better than the individual books.
I did enjoy "The Last Battle" quite a lot! And, unfortunately, took longer to read it than I would have liked (which probably didn't help the flow of it). | My kids love this series and can't get enough. These stories teach lessons in a fun way. It's great to have in the car on trips or to use at home to avoid overusing the tv and gaming equipment. It's entertaining for the entire family. |

| Yeah I really enjoyed reading this and I recommended this to kids who like this kind of stuff. This wasn't really meant for older people, obviously... But it is still well made and worth reading. I used to read these books when I was little, and I still really like them. |

| I first read this book when I was in college. At the time, this beautiful, tear-jerking story became one of my favorites. Almost 18 years later, I feel the same way. This story of grief, loss, love, and healing holds even deeper meaning for me now. This is a book I will keep in my collection -- to read over and over. |

| I thought this was an entertaining little book, but as some of the negative reviews suggest, it may be a little too dark for younger children. But then again, most under-10 children (if my nieces are any guide) are going to want books with more pictures and less text anyhow. |
