| The approach is well thought out and well organized with extensive guidance and tips to parents and teachers. The material is enthusiastic, energetic, and simple. The repetitions are presented in varying contexts so that the exercises do not become boring or laborious. It is an effective and enjoyable approach for children that also works well with adults. |

| interesting story with a full cast of voices. Pullman takes a long time to finish up the narrative, but it's probably necessary. no bad music in this volume, but the poetry at the beginning of each chapter is hard to get when read quickly out loud. it adds nothing to this audio version. that part would make more sense in print. |

| My grandson and I are reading it and find it very interesting and informative. There is no foul language. I would recommend it for young people that may be going through a similar situation. |

| This CD has been in heavy rotation since deciding to teach our toddler son French. He was five months old when purchased and we didn't begin to play it until he was six months old. I wish we hadn't waited! The songs are sung beautifully by both the male and female singers. In addition to the adult singers, there is also a child that sings songs.
The CD comes with the lyrics for each song in both French and English which I find to be extremely helpful. My favorite feature is the "Parentese." ... Read More: |

| I got this when my daughter was 2.5yrs and had a good start on spanish already. She liked it, but I hoped it would teach her more (and me too). It's really only good for car rides, not at home. It won't keep her attention at home. |

| Little Bear is a favorite TV show for some of my grandchildren. This CD lets them enjoy the stories when they are in the car, or just to listen to the CD at bedtime. The reader has a wonderful voice and it is very soothing and relaxing to fall asleep while listening. I recommend this CD for children from ages 3 to 10. |

| Eldest (Inheritance)
Over all, I really liked The Inheritance trilogy and Eragon was a great book. The problem is that after Eragon, most of Eldest was a let down and I really hope that the series comes back together in the 3rd book, Brisngr, if not, I bet Paolini will get much worse reviews on Amazon.com. A lot of the writing could have been cut off though, like most of Eragon's lessons, and many of the long, unnecessary descriptions of random events. | While it's fine that it was written by a kid, the writing is painfully bad. If you want to read good writing rather than a gimmick, try another book. |

| I purchased the Magic Tree House audio set because my four-year-old daughter is always asking me to tell her stories. Sometimes, I just can't get my imagination going, so I thought this would fill in my blank moments. And, in fact, it has done a wonderful job of it. We play them in the car while driving around. They really captivate my daughter. The subject matter is very interesting to children: dinosaurs, mummies, castles, pirates. The stories increased her interest in these areas.
