| My kids love these books on CD. So much so that when we read them the actual book, they insist that we use the "Annie" voice. The only complaint I would have about the box set, is that some of the stories are split between two CDs. They should have made it two stories per CD. Great purchase - good for the car or before bed. |

| My daughters and I really enjoyed listening to this classic literature in long car rides. The story combined with the enchanting music made it all the more endearing. |

| I love this book, and so does my 3-year-old. Some of the pictures lend a more modern twist to the stories. For example, "4 and 20 blackbirds baked in a pie" are pictured as birds half in half out of a fruit pie, with the suggestion that they are eating the berries (rather than the original intention which was something more like a blackbird pot pie). | Having listened to the first two books on audio and loved them, I continued with the third book "curse of the warmbloods" On CD. I love it when a childrens series continues to grow, in both content , character maturity and overall plot wise. I have read books before that seem to go nowhere with ever installment and I quickly tire of those.
This book, is my favorite out of the three so far. The first one "Gregor the Overlander" correctly laid out the mythos and introduced the characters in a nonconfusing way ... Read More: |

| "Prey" by Michael Crichton is a wonderful book. Even I, one who is usually strongly opposed to the Science-Fiction genre, found many things about this book that made me think, and many more that were just good. Maybe it was the romance, perhaps the incredibly performed suspense, or another element.
