| I was happy to see that this book was added to Oprah's book club, this ment that millions who never knew of this book would read it or at least hear it's story. I read this in college as part of the debates on wither the US should have entered WW2 before 1941. When I was done I felt that I had been robbed. Not that I didn't enjoy the book but that noone had told me about it before. I would rather have read this in Middle or High school then some of the junk books they forced on us, and while Romeo ... | This book is worth every bit of praise it gets. Frank Miller created a masterpiece with this work. And even a die-hard Marvel fan that I am came to appreciate the Dark Knight through this book. The book itself is almost a legend among comics, but don't buy it for that. Buy it for the story and the insidious art that doesn't have much appeal at first, but by the end you can't picture the story being told in any other style. At least I can't.

| I think Feehan has too much going on right now. This book should have been longer and is missing too much. Dominic was the only really interesting character and he disappeared. The two human males were a little too disposable. Also, I'm not sure why she fell in love with Nicholas. I don't want you to get confused - I almost enjoyed the book, but I'm not comfortable suggesting you buy it at hardcover price. Borrow, or wait until paperback. | Every voter should read this book, because everyone should know who it is they are voting for or against. What defines this candidate? Not merely a set of position papers. In my case, I am voting against Senator Obama. That does not make his book any less valuable and compelling. Now more than ever I know why I am making another choice.

| Fiction is not my usual choice so I'm really not very conversant on authors in that field but the book review I read of __Moscow Rules__ enticed me and I jumped it. It reads like it was taken off the world affairs pages of any city newspaper. The characters are contemporary and the author weaves in just enough description of people and places that it "feels" real.
Occasionally Silva fits in an event the reader suddenly realizes has *not* happened and I find myself having to mentally back up and retrace where we've "been". That may ... Read More: |

| I purchased this book for my Psychology class. It was a introductory class, and I was surprised as heck to see this thick, 700+ page book was what I needed. I bought it out of necessity. | I've been a Brooks fan since I was like 6 years old. I've read every book he has except World (which isn't really a "book"). I got this one with eager anticipation.
For those that don't know, this is the third book of the "Genesis" series from Brooks. I reviewed Armageddon's Children, and warned people to read Word and Void series first. | I have never claimed that Kathy Reichs' books are high art, but usually they are pretty entertaining and a good bet for either a nice beach read or a rainy day read.
Let me just say that Devil Bones is neither. I plodded through this book and although I only started reading it about a week ago, it felt to me as though I had been reading it for 3 months!
