| The author does a great job expounding her theory that World War II ended the great depression and FDR's New Deal only helped prolong it. With plenty of examples of flamboyant socialist policies, overzealous prosecutions, and the unconstitutional court packing plan, she certainly makes a good case. This work, however, is pretty dense and can be hard to get through at times. | These books are always enjoyable. I've been a mythology enthusiast since I was a kid and am still a sucker for creative variations on Greek Myths. I had to particularly laugh at the Sphinx who ditches the traditional riddle contest for a standardized test. Her lines are classic.

Tough gives great background on thinking on poverty and education, and its evolution, over the past 50 or so years. HCZ and Geoffrey Canada challenge some traditional liberal views (mine included) about the dangers of charter schools and the importance of labor unions in all areas, including education. | Yes, I did order this book for my grand daughter, and she is getting a lot out of it and enjoys it, will get a lot of good information, but if you are asking about my last shipment where you have sent out 2 of these books, then I am very unhappy as I did not order but only one book of this kind. Since this is going to a correctional facility I am in hopes of retriving it to be returned to you. I do not know how it happened, have never had this problem ever.

| I enjoy Julia Quinn but I was disappointed in re-reading entire portions of the "Missing Duke..." Would it have been so hard to write a story with more original content? I will be careful next time Quinn writes a two part story; I don't intend to add my dollars to a repeat again. |
