| My four year old nephew is a faithful curious George fan. He loves the books and the television programs. | This is a good set of books for the young teen with lots of fun and a mystery to solve before Nancy can. If your child thinks the original Nancy is too old fashioned then this will win her over as it is set in the "here and now" with cell phones, the internet and all the usual suspects of the 90's and beyond. Definitely worth a read. |

| I purchased these books for my great niece for Christmas so I can't rate them accurately except to say my sister collected the entire set when we were kids and she treasured them. Unfortunately, her collection was lost after her death so I'm going to try to interest her granddaughter if I can. |

| We didn't have Dr. Seuss where I grew up so I don't have any misplaced emotional attachment to the "original"; for my daughter this will be the original. I love this little book and so does my daughter. When we start reading it she jumps up and down and laughs and claps her hands, we make it interactive with toys like a stuffed pig and a clown doll, yawning for night time, juggling on the "well feet" page. | The book with printed story and pictures is excellent, deserving a 5-star rating. The CD, however, seems totally inappropriate for an audience of 3- to 6-year-olds. The combination of English, French, and French accented English is more confusing than enlightening. The CD content goes far beyond the content of the printed pages, adding to the confusion potential. The print-audio combination might work for some older children, but the story is most likely to interest younger ages. |

I bought this book 11 years ago for grandson, Paul who is now 14 years old. My new grandson, Eli, is 19 months old and has just discovered Thomas. I wanted to buy Eli a Thomas book and remembered the time spent reading this book with Paul and the enjoyment we both got from it. I'm buying the book again for Eli. I know he will love it and learn from it and I will love sharing it with him. |

| Bought this for my 4 year old son to help talk to him about strangers, and what they are, and who they are. This doesn't help explain that. An ok story, but he lost interest in this book before I was done reading it. And he loves to read books. |
