| My son loves this book. He's 1 1/2 years old and trucks are his favorite things. The pictures are bright. The book is sturdy. Good, solid product. Would definitely purchase again! |

| My students in Japan, ages 1 and 2 years old, LOVE this book. I was really surprised. I thought the paper-cut-out artwork wouldn't grab them, but it did. The vocabulary was basic, but things they knew and could point to in the pictures. I turned this into a dialogue book because I found the sentences weren't enough. But even a month after we finished our work on this book, 2 of my students were still carying this in their book bags every day because they loved this book so much! |

| I have a hard time keeping my 17 month daughter interested in books. This book is wonderful because each page gives her a flap to look under and something new to look for on each page. She loves it. |

| This book is incredibly adorable. I love reading it, and my 21-month old son loves hearing it. Well, not so much anymore...he made me read it over and over again, probably a hundred times in 3 weeks, and now he has it memorized and no longer wants to read it. But he can talk about the Statue of Liberty, can pick out the Washington Monument and U.S. Captiol, and can tell you who lives in the White House. | This is a great story for a toddler bedtime; simple, short, sweet, and just interesting enough. It helps me wind down, too! As always, the bold colors, simple text, and realistic topic make this a winner. I love the little details of Maisy putting on her pj's and using the bathroom! Highly recommend! |

| This book is fun! It repeats the rhyming word three times so it encourages every child to join in. This book is great to memorize and repeat whenever you feel like having fun. I highly recommend this book. |

| A cute, yet simple book with vibrant colors--my 1 year old loves it. The pages are thicker and sturdier than most board books. While it does make it slightly harder for my child to turn the pages by himself, I believe this book will hold up better than most of his books. |

| Leo the Late Bloomer was my favorite book growing up. Recently, my four year old niece found it at my mother's house. She read it to me and loved all the pictures and silly things Leo did. The illustrations in this book are beautiful and engaging for children. I just bought this from Amazon to share with my own daughter. |

| This book might be good for a kid who is learning to read on his or her own, but it is very, very dull to read aloud. Due to the limited vocabulary (50 words), there is little characterization or description-- just a very simplified communication of what is happening in the race between Thomas and Gordon. The illustrations are good, but the vocabulary and concepts are not challenging or imaginative. My son, who is two and a half, loves Thomas enough to request the reading of even this awful book, so I may have to hide it. |
