| My 3 year old loves this book- because of the short rhyming phrases, he was able to memorize the book after only a few readings, and now "reads" it to me. He has alot of fun with it and I think it will help him as he starts recognizing words. I have turned into a big Boynton fan! |

| ISBN 0763607525 - Lift the flap books, in general, suffer from one flaw - the flaps themselves. If you decide to buy a used copy, it's a good idea to make sure that all the flaps are intact, since they tear off fairly easily. That aside, this book is a great one for little budding readers.

| I agree with other reviews that I don't think this book is as good as The Gruffalo...but I'm still giving it 5 stars because it is still a really great book. I don't think the story is as clever and the ending seems a little anti-climatic. But my 18 month old son LOVES this book...even more than The Gruffalo. This is one of the most often read books in our house. |

| This is one of the first Usborne Books I bought for my family, way before I became a consultant for the company. My youngest loved it. The text is rhythmic, the touchy-feely aspect is very attractive to babies and toddlers and there is a mouse on each page for your child to point out. | We absolultely LOVE this book! It was one of the first books my daughter ever "read" and I think it'll be a great one for early reading skills-building. It is so expressive and clear with easily recognizable words. Especially love the board book format! Love, Love, LOVE it and highly recommend it to any/everyone!!!! |

| The story is cute and the touch and feel books help me keep my toddler interested in the story and the words we're reading. I can read about the "dog" and they he touches the dog. It gives him something to interact with the story and something for us to do together. No more sound books for me, just touch and feel. What a pleasure. |
