| Unfortunately, many books about Jesus are boring to my youngsters. They will often interrupt my reading to tell me they want a different book. This is one of the few Christian books that my children enjoy and request to hear multiple times. The book emphasizes Jesus' love for us, and lays out the basics of His birth, His death on the cross for our sins, and His character as revealed through His miracles and His love of children. The pictures are gentle and joyful, and emphasize family. |

| My sister is a principal and highly recommeded this book for my grandchildren. THey love to read and sing so what better gift than to have it all wrapped into one. |

| Like so many adapted board books, this particular Corduroy book ends very abruptly to me--there's no plot at all, just a series of activities throughout the day, but that don't occur in any necessary order. The other Corduroy books (some of the holiday books, for example, Corduroy's Day, Corduroy Goes to the Doctor, and Corduroy's Party come to mind) begin at hte beginning of a day or an event, and end at the end, and that makes for a more comfortable read.

| My 2-year old niece loves this book. I also work at a public library where I often do read aloud to toddlers and they all enjoy this book immensely. It's a good way to teach toddlers about different animals while keeping them engaged as well. |

| My 7 month old is obsessed with our cat. He practically gives himself whiplash from turning to look at her whenever she makes a sound or comes into the same room as him. I wanted to find a durable, photo-realistic book with cats in it so he could continue his cat obsession during reading time. I spent a long time looking through pages of baby books trying to find exactly what I was looking for, but I wasn't satisfied with any of the options. I was very excited to find this book, and ordered it right away.

| This is one of the best books for our 20-month-old precocious girl; I was floored to see only three reviews on Amazon.
This book is as good as Goodnight, Zoo, and that is saying a LOT! The verses scan (unlike MOST of the children's poetry I read), the watercolor artwork is excellent (again, unlike most of the children's books out there), and perhaps most importantly, the sum of the words and the art is greater than the parts. | I thought this was a cute idea but the books themselves are kind of boring. My 2-year-old doesn't even play with them as vehicles and he LOVES school buses. The wheels get in the way on the bookshelf and the velcro holding them closed is a pain when you are looking at the book itself. Cute concept, but you're better off with some of the other great truck / vehicle books out there that have a wider variety of pictures as well as some words. |
