| My two-year-old and I really love this book. After I initially took off the shrink wrap, I thought the smells were a little hard to take; however, after the book "aired out" for a couple of days, the smells were not so strong and were very pleasant. The pictures are fun with the ladybugs, butterflies, beetles, etc. A great little book! |

| This book, like all the "happy baby" books, is great. I recommend them all. We love this one especially, as it has easy-to count objects (photos) on every page which my daughter enjoys. The numbers are also written out clearly on each page (ex: "three" and "3"). |

| The pictures are really engaging, ss with most books illustrated by Garth Williams.
The book counts from 1 to 10, so is suitable for the younger child/toddler. The rhymes for each number are really sweet. |

| The inside illustrations are very nice, but the story is only fine--nothing amazing. The illustrations would benefit from a larger format. It's difficult to make out the detail and get absorbed in all that's going on in the illustrations. The cover, oddly, makes my 13 month old daughter cry when she looks at it. We had to put tape over Santa's face because whenever she pulled this book off the shelf she'd break out into tears. The inside illustrations do not bother her. | My son almost two years old enjoyed the images and words in the book. It was exciting for the both of us to watch his acknowledge of things that he had known prior, and be able to acknpwledge new things that he viewed in the book. I since have purchased a variety of Happy baby books since we are expecting. |

| Little Miss Naughty (Mr. Men and Little Miss) is the item. I ordered it for my daughter because I had it as a child and enjoyed the series. Now that they are back on tv my daughter loves them so I ordered a couple. It is brand new and exactly the story I remember. |

| Does your kid like animals or have they been to the zoo? If so this is the book to read to your kids, there are so many different animals in this book and helps our daughter identify each one. We love that it shows so many of the animals she has seen at the zoo and it makes her want to go that much more often. This, like other books in the series is a book that can be short (just read the words) or can be long by asking questions about the animals and what are they doing and you could even talk about what they eat, etc. ... | Chameleon Races is very bright and colorful for children. It's one of my son's favorite English-Italian books because you learn about the lizards helping each other so they can all finish together. the lizard names are easy to pronounce since the spelling is close to the English version. Defenitely a cool book, will look for more in the series. |

| I used this book for a story time with a rooster theme. It is a counting book that teaches the concept of addition and subtraction. Rooster sets off to see the world. Along the way he meets two cats, three frogs, four turtles, and five fish. Since Rooster has made no plans for food or shelter, as night falls his traveling companions go home. The book is illustrated with Carle's usual large, gorgeous collages. It worked very well with a group of forty preschoolers. |
