| My youngest Daughter initially purchased Book 1 of this series from a book order form from school. Once she had read it, I happened to look at it and started reading the story as it seemed interesting. We both became "hooked" to the story. I came on line to AMAZON & found out it was a series with 3 more books already released. I immediately ordered the the books. Once they arrived we both read them individually within a week. We did discuss the stories.

| I loved it! Its my favorite of the whole series. I have been waiting for this book since I finished reading no.8. I was dissapointed when I had to wait a while to read this book.I especially liked this book because of the difference between this and the other ones. The difference is that Madame Plonk became a powerful singer. My favorite part is the cave battle. If you have read the earlier books you will love this one. |

| My son has read and reread the books in this series, essentially absorbing a short course in natural history in the process. The author has a deft touch--she strikes a great balance between challenging a grade school reader (my son is in 4th grade), both in terms of concepts and vocabulary, while engaging the reader so thoroughly that the challenge is a joy. He's just as glued to the page now, on his third time through the series, as he was on his first. Enjoy this wonderful series! |

Owly is such a cute and sweet little owl! Owly makes friends with everyone, and has a huge, warm heart. "Just a Little Blue" is filled with warmth and action, as Owly tries to make a birdhouse for the bluebird family that lives near by. I was so caught up by the Warriors series by Erin Hunter, that I didn't know that two new books from the Guardians of Ga'Hoole had come out. I quickly bought them, but put them aside to read something else. By this time, I had forgotten most of what happened. So I started from the First Collier and worked my way up. | The recommended age may be 4-8 years but my 16-month old LOVES BooBoo and asks for it nearly every day. "Shall we read a book?" we ask him and he'll reply, "BooBoo"! The illustrations are lovely and fun and even we adults don't tire of this. Good job! |
