| This is a nice little book, however, the cover is misleading. My daughter's favorite penguins are Emperor penguins, as shown on the cover, which is why I bought this book. Unfortunately the penguins we watch grow on the inside of the book are King penguins, which aren't nearly as cute as babies as Emperors are. |

| This is the same translator responsible for the dreadful Spanish version of The Cat in the Hat. His style of unimaginative transliteration, however, works much better for P.D. Eastman's simple, plain, prose than for Dr. Seuss' elaborate rhymes. He does manage to screw up the classic line "You are not my mother, you are a snort!", but most of the rest of the original comes through okay. Not quite as enjoyable to read aloud in Spanish as in English, but still fun.

| Good book. This is one of the older curious george stories and drawings. Not one of the newer curious goerge stories and drawings. |

| Too many words for not enough pictures. As a teacher I would have it out for reading time..or on my shelf but it is definately not a read aloud book...I hate picture books with too many words! |

| I am always looking for books for my 20-month-old for each holiday. We only have one turkey book, so I decided to add The Turkey Ball to our collection. The premise is great. The narrative is very silly and fun to read. My daughter is nuts about the picture of the turkeys on the bus and is convinced they are all aboard any tram or PACE bus. | Cute story, but was hoping it was like his other book Motel of the Mysteries and it wasn't the same. I enjoyed Motel so much that I was a little disapointed by this one, but it is a good book otherwise. |
